Regulated Qualifications
Regulated qualifications, also known as accredited qualifications, are those that are reviewed, recognised and monitored by the UK Regulators to ensure that they meet specific criteria and quality standards. The requirements for the regulated qualifications to be accredited are set out in the regulatory arrangements of the General Conditions of Recognition in England (OfQual).

School Transcript
An official transcript sent directly by your secondary school is required. Bates accepts a variety of school transcripts, provided they meet our stated admission requirements and offer a complete and accurate representation of an applicant’s learning and achievements. Applicants with proficiency-based transcripts will be given full consideration for admission.
Your interview
As part of your application, you will be required to have an interview. Our places fill up quickly, so make sure you attend your interview, as we may not be able to offer you a place without it.
Your offer of a Place
Once you’ve attended your interview, we aim to make you an offer on the day if possible. Occasionally, we may require further information before confirming a place, so it might take slightly longer.

If you have been offered a place at Russell College Birmingham, you will receive an online pre-registration email during the summer.
